At Meditecs as part of Teleconsult group, our mission extends beyond enhancing patient care and supporting patient safety—we’re equally dedicated to creating a positive impact on society and the environment. We strive to operate sustainably, support human rights, and promote well-being in everything we do.

Guiding Principles

Our approach is rooted in global standards, including the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles. These frameworks guide our actions to:

• Reduce our environmental impact by preventing pollution, conserving resources, and promoting energy efficiency.
• Uphold and promote human rights while contributing positively to society.
• Comply with environmental and human rights regulations—and exceed them where our internal standards are higher.
• Hold our business partners and contractors to these same rigorous expectations.

Driving Continuous Improvement

We regularly evaluate our impact, set new goals, and measure our progress to ensure we’re continuously improving our performance and delivering on our commitments.

We take proactive steps to minimize our carbon emission and ecological footprint through initiatives such as:

• Green Energy: Utilizing renewable energy in all Teleconsult offices and climate-neutral servers wherever feasible.
• Sustainable Procurement: Prioritizing eco-friendly, fair-trade, local, and refurbished products and services. We assess all our suppliers on their sustainability efforts.
• Sustainable Travel: Compensating for business flight emissions and opting for flights only when absolutely necessary. Relying on trains, electric cars, and electric taxis for business travel where possible. Using eco hotels if available.
• Energy Conservation: Upholding energy saving activities, like optimized airconditioning settings, equipment maintenance, switching off devices at the end of the day to save energy.
• Water Conservation: Dual flush, repair leaks, awareness raising.
• Waste Management: Implementing robust waste separation and waste recycling programs, including for electronic and technical equipment.
• Paperless Operations: Maintaining paperless offices and, where unavoidable, using eco-certified paper.

ISO 14001 Certification: A Benchmark for Excellence

From 2024, all Teleconsult units are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard, solidifying our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Partnership with Trees for All

As part of our commitment to creating a healthier planet and carbon offsetting our business travels, Teleconsult started a partnership with Trees for All, an organization dedicated to reforestation and preserving natural ecosystems. Through this partnership, we contribute to:

• Planting trees in sustainable reforestation projects worldwide.
• Protecting existing forests to maintain biodiversity and combat climate change.
• Supporting local communities by creating jobs and enhancing their living environments.

Our collaboration with Trees for All aligns with our values of environmental stewardship and global impact, helping us actively contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
