It all began in the classrooms of the University of Málaga. A group of young students dreamed of venturing into the world of healthcare software, even though they didn’t have much of a clue how to achieve it. Thus, Caduceus Software was born in 2008, a spark of innovation in sunny Málaga.

The journey was not without its challenges, but recognition came swiftly. Honored with the SpinOff award from the University of Málaga and collaborating with the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital of Málaga, we brought to life a tool for radiology. A tool that became an ally for numerous Spanish hospitals for over a decade.

In an era where paper reports still dominated hospital corridors and digitization was still the future, we saw beyond: interoperability. We didn’t just see it; we became passionate about it. So much so that, in 2013, it became the heart of our mission.

Back then, integrating applications and systems seemed more like a luxury than a necessity. But we knew we were on the right path. And time proved us right: interoperability emerged as the vital artery for the future of health.

Caduceus Software’s compass pointed beyond just Spain. In 2018, the winds carried us to international horizons, reaping new projects and collaborations. One of those partnerships, with Teleconsult, a thriving European teleradiology company, transformed into such a powerful synergy that we sealed our partnership in 2021.

In 2023, we reinvented ourselves, and from the roots of Caduceus Software, Meditecs emerged, a brand positioning us as leaders in health interoperability for a global stage. Today, together, we continue writing the story of a more integrated and healthier future.

A new era, Meditecs becomes part of Evidia. Meditecs joins forces with Evidia Group alongside partner company Teleconsult, forming a premier pan-European tele-diagnostics and healthcare IT integration network.
