Meditecs enters the group alongside its long-term strategic partner, Teleconsult, forming a highly integrated, tech-enabled digital diagnostics powerhouse.
Founded in 2008 as an award-winning spin-off from the University of Málaga, Meditecs has grown into a vital global health-tech provider, currently managing over 100 million medical records monthly across more than 70 hospitals worldwide. The company is widely recognized for its expertise in engineering complex healthcare data flows using HL7, DICOM, and FHIR standards, alongside its proprietary integration platform, Meditecs Smart Connect.
This acquisition unites Evidia’s extensive physical imaging infrastructure, Teleconsult’s specialized teleradiology remote-reporting services, and Meditecs’ advanced interoperability architecture. Together, the three entities will deliver a unified, highly efficient, and AI-supported diagnostic ecosystem designed to address critical healthcare challenges across Europe, including radiologist shortages and surging scan volumes.
